First Look: Bear & Sons Cutlery Slip-Joint Folding Knives

Bear & Son Cutlery is a manufacturer of premium Alabama-made knives, and now they are expanding their popular family of compact and full-size Aluminum slip-joint folding knives with the addition of a new color. 

Bear & Son Aluminum Slip-Joint Folders as designed to fit conveniently in a pocket or into a purse or everyday carry bag. In fact, the Compact model is small enough to be added to a key chain if you so desire, the Bear & Son Aluminum Slip-Joint Folder comes in a variety of fashionable colors, and new for 2021 is a purple handle option which joins the black, blue, orange, red, and yellow colors in both the compact (1½-inch blade) and full-size (2 3/8-inch) models.

The Aluminum Slip-Joint Folders are lightweight pocket knives which feature aluminum handles and a taper-ground drop point blade that is made from high-carbon stainless steel. This construction makes them rust-resistant, easy to sharpen, and able hold an edge. The Bear & Son Aluminum Slip-Joint Folders also include a hollow nail nick to assist in blade opening.

The Compact 109 models weigh 1.0 ounces and the 110 models weigh 1.9 ounces. Both series of knives are proudly made in Jacksonville, AL.
