The handguard of an AR-pattern firearm is a prime location for all sorts of accessories, from lights and lasers to all sorts of other gear. The Picatinny rail system is one of the standard mounting systems out there, however, all those rail slots added extra weight to an AR, and the lighter, more compact M-Lok system has become a popular alternative to the Picatinny rail.

Now Phoenix Weaponry is adding a new billet hand stop for M-Lok handguards to their line of custom firearms and accessories. The stop is machined from a 6061-T6 billet aluminum and is contoured to rest against the webbing of your support hand. The Hand Stop is anodized in black and comes with stainless steel quick detach sling insert, along with an 8/32 socket head screw and an M-Lok-style nut for installation on your firearm.

When asked about the M-Lok version of the Hand Stop Phoenix Weaponry Owner, Aaron Cayce said, "they had a lot of interest in them after customers used a similar version on the Phoenix Weaponry handguard. Not only can they be used as a Hand Stop on most any length of AR rifle or pistol they can also be rested up against a barrier if need be and you can still use your QD sling with them."

Consumers can easily install this Hand Stop by using the 3/32 Allen wrench and other components that ship with the Hand Stop. When installing the Hand Stop on your firearm it’s important to make sure the M-Lok nut is aligned vertically with the channel and Hand Stop is horizontal so that the stop doesn't move once it's properly tightened and secured.

MSRP for the M-Lok Hand Stop is $29.99, and more information on this item and other products from Phoenix Weaponry can be found at phoenixweaponry.com.
