New from Trijicon are the DI Night Sights, which build on Trijicon’s experience with tritium and fiber optics. These new, dual-illumination night sights are designed for personal defense, law enforcement and professional shooters in mind.

DI Night Sights are equipped with the industry’s first user-replaceable fiber optic for easy installation in the field. The chemical- and heat-resistant fiber-optic pipes in the DI Night Sights are  finished with the same proprietary technique as those in the venerable Trijicon ACOG. The fiber is teamed with a tritium lamp that is protected by an aluminum sleeve and capped with a sapphire jewel for increased durability. This dual illumination technology amplifies collected light and ensures an ultra-bright aiming point in any light.

“We are excited to be able to solve the long-standing user need of a replaceable fiber in a sight that provides an aiming point in any light,” said Chuck Wahr, Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Trijicon. “It is a credit to our engineering team who consistently turns out brilliant aiming solutions.”

The DI Night Sight is available for a wide range of pistols from Glock, SIG Sauer, Smith & Wesson and Springfield Armory and are designed for use in the most demanding conditions while offering exceptional versatility to the shooter. The fiber optic and tritium vial are held in place by a sturdy housing that is machined from solid steel for durability. A threaded black steel retainer on the front sight allows users to quickly replace lost or damaged fiber pieces. DI Night Sights come from the factory with a .078-inch green fiber pre-installed in the front sight and two replacement green fibers.

DI Night Sights are user-customizeable with up to 16 different fiber and retainer color combinations. Fiber options include green, red, amber, and orange colors, while additional steel retainers are available finished in white, orange, or yellow Cerakote.

The subdued rear sight of the DI Night Sight uses tritium inserts to provide a rapid sight picture in low light situations, while still allowing for prominent front sight focus in daylight. The rear sight also features an enhanced hook design to facilitate single-handed slide operation under emergency conditions.

MSRP for the DI Night Sight set is $150, and more information on this product and other gear from Trijicon is available at trijicon.com.
