Springfield Armory recently introduced new versions of their popular Hellcat and Hellcat OSP pistols that ship with 10-round magazines. This new model is perfect for people who live in locales that have restricted magazine capacities.

“The Hellcat has proven to be extremely popular since its launch due to its quality, capabilities and performance,” says Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory. “Now, with these new 10-round versions of the pistol in both standard and OSP versions, even more shooters have the chance to own the best concealed carry pistol on the market.”

The Hellcat is a 3-inch barreled micro compact pistol that was developed to offer shooters a cutting-edge CCW pistol with rugged durability. The pistol is +P rated handgun and features a hammer forged steel barrel and billet machined slide, both with a Melonite coating. The frame features Adaptive Grip Texture, a seamless, pressure-activated texture that features a staggered pyramid pattern.

The taller pyramids have flattened tops to ensure comfort in the waistband, while the shorter pyramids come to a point and are engaged when the pistol is firmly gripped. The Hellcat also has a reversible magazine release and standardized accessory rail for lights and lasers.

The OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) variant of the Hellcat features a removable seamless cover plate that allows for the direct mounting of a micro red dot to the slide. Adding to the OSP's ability to mount a red dot optic is the U-Dot sight system, offered on both the OSP and standard Hellcat pistol. The sight system has a high-visibility tritium and luminescent front sight that is paired with a tactical rack U-notch rear. The lower, direct-mount capability of the OSP allows for co-witnessing of the U-Dot sights with a red dot for a more instinctive target engagement.

The MSRP for the standard 10-Round Hellcat is $569, and the 10-Round Hellcat OSP has an MSRP of $599. More information on these pistols and other products from Springfield Armory is available at springfield-armory.com.
