Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is known for making rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics. The company recently launched two versions of the new SX-2 Alpine HD spotting scope. Both scopes come in an angled configuration, one a 20-60x60 mm internal optics, and the other in 20-60x80 mm.

“The SX-2 Alpine HD delivers exactly what hunters and shooters want in a spotting scope, and it does it in a price class that you’re not going to be able to beat,” said Zach Bird, Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Our in-house optical engineers are working every day here in Beaverton, OR, to bring consumers the product quality they deserve, and the SX-2 is the perfect example — it’s lightweight, rugged, clear, and exactly what you’ll need whether you’re spending the day at the range or heading out in the field.”

Leupold has engineered the SX-2 Alpine HD to deliver unparalleled optical quality in its class. Both the SX-2 Alpine HD scopes are built to deliver the performance that dedicated hunters and shooters need, even in the harshest conditions. The Twilight Max Light Management System intensifies ambient light in extreme low-light environments and provides excellent glare management in order to drastically reduce image wash-out, letting you see more in less light. The generous eye box helps reduce eye-strain and fatigue, while an oversized eyepiece ensures comfortable, all-day-long viewing.

Waterproof, fogproof, and packed with features, the SX-2 Alpine HD delivers where it counts and comes with Leupold’s lifetime guarantee. The Diamondcoat lenses of the scope are scratch-resistant and can endure even the roughest conditions. High definition lens coatings provide for bright, clear images, and its Guard-ion lens coating resists dirt and water from building up on the lens. There is a rotating tripod adjustment ring to allow for more flexibility when glassing large areas, along with an integrated, adjustable sun shade.

MSRP for the Leupold SX-2 Alpine HD spotting scope line starts at $519.99, and more information is available at leupold.com.
