First Look: Sightmark Wraith HD 2-16x28 Digital Riflescope

Sightmark is releasing its latest optic, the Wraith HD 2-16x28 mm. This premium digital riflescope boasts a 1920x1080 CMOS sensor that delivers pristine images on a 1280x720 FLCOS display. The Wraith HD’s wide field-of-view is enabled by a large 28 mm objective lens and in-demand 2X lower base magnification, which perfectly accommodates feral hog applications, as well as varmint or big-game enthusiasts.

The Wraith HD provides full-color clarity in daytime and has a simple one-touch process to switch to night mode that has classic emerald or black and white viewing options. The Wraith comes with a removable 850nm IR illuminator to provide an enhanced nighttime image and accurate target acquisition up to 200 yards.

Full daytime-color mode and 200-yard nighttime detection range propel the Wraith HD into the ranks of some of the most advanced digital riflescopes in the shooting industry. The Wraith HD uses 4 AA batteries, which allows it to operate for 3.5 hours. The built-in HD video recording and 7 hours of memory capacity, along with a 64gb SD card and Micro USB port ensure that users can relive their fondest memories for years to come.

The Wraith HD’s highly durable aluminum housing is shockproof and can withstand a maximum recoil caliber of .308 Win. It can operate in temperatures ranging from 20 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit and possesses an IP55 water-resistant rating. The scope has 10 reticle options built in, with nine colors and five firearm profiles. Other included accessories are an objective lens cover, fixed Picatinny mount and user manual.
