SAR USA has introduced the highly anticipated SAR 9x polymer pistol at the SHOT Show. The upgraded version of the SAR 9 has all the features enthusiasts need for carry or home defense. The striker-fired 9 mm features a 4.4-inch hammer-forged barrel with recessed crown for increased accuracy and 3-dot sights with optic-ready mount.

It has interchangeable backstrap and side plates, black-oxide slide and comes standard with 17- and 19-round magazines. With a choice of three insertable backstraps to customize fit, a low barrel axis to grip ratio to reduce muzzle climb and 20-degree grip angle, control is superior and shot recovery fast. The pistol’s overall length is 7.5 inches, height is 5.5 inches and width is 1.4 inches. It tips the scales at 27.1 ounces.

SAR USA—which handles Turkish-made Sarsilmaz firearms—has also brought new Model 2000 pistols stateside this year. Designed as a duty and defensive pistol for military officers, the rugged all-steel hammer-fired SAR 2000 line of pistols are a favorite with military and police around the world.

Offered in single/double action, the SAR 2000 line features a 4.5-inch hammer-forged barrel with recessed crown for increased accuracy, alloy-forged steel and forged stainless-steel frame and slide. Other features include an ergonomic trigger guard, Picatinny rail for accessories, dovetail rear sight and changeable front sight. The SAR 2000 offers a choice of two 10-round or two 17-round-capacity magazines. It’s also chambered in 9 mm and has an overall length of 8 inches. Height comes in at 5.5 inches and width 1.4. It weighs 32.2 ounces.

Competitive shooters will want to take a close look at the new SAR USA K-12. They offer competition-caliber performance at a price point within reach of every shooter. The K-12 Sport features a 4.7-inch hammer-forged match-grade ported barrel with recessed crown. It has a precision-machined forged alloy steel frame and slide, ultra-comfortable grip, flared mag well for faster reloads, skeletonized hammer and overtravel stop in the back of the trigger. Ambidextrous manual safety and hard-white chrome finishing with front and rear slide serrations make it ideal for fast stages.

High-ride beavertail, fully adjustable rear target sight and trigger and two 17-round magazines round out the pistol package. It’s also chambered in 9 mm.
