Kahr Firearms Group has donated eight Thin Blue Line PM9s to the NRA Law Enforcement Division. Four will be given away during the NRA National Police Shooting Championships (NPSC), which take place Sept. 23 to 25, 2019, in Pearl, MO—two as special Firearm Awards, one will go to the High Scoring First Time New Shooter in the Production Duty Gun Championship and the fourth will help underwrite the annual event as of the NPSC Fund Raising Raffle. The remaining pistols will be prizes in each of the NRA Regional Tactical Police Competitions.

“We are very proud to support the NRA Law Enforcement Division,” said Jodi DePorter, director of marketing at Kahr Firearms Group. “At Kahr Firearms Group, we strive to show continued support for the heroes behind the badge who serve and protect us daily. We are truly grateful for their sacrifice and dedication."

Introduced in 2018, the Thin Blue Line PM9 honors the men and women in law enforcement who risk their lives to “serve and protect.” A blue line encircles the pistol’s slide, which is finished in a durable Armor Black Cerakote and has all metal parts blackened. The special model comes equipped with TruGlo Tactical Night Sights, two flush-mount six-round magazines and one seven-round extended magazine.

“The NRA Law Enforcement Division is proud to have Kahr Arms as a supporter of our Law Enforcement Competitions Department,” said Glen Hoyer, director of NRA’s Law Enforcement Division. “Kahr Arms has been a popular firearm with law enforcement officers for years. This donation of firearms, to use as prizes for our competitors, shows how much they care about America’s law enforcement, and we appreciate their support.”

NPSC began in 1962 and has taken place every year since. It is open to law-enforcement officers—in both the public and private sectors—as well as certain members of the armed forces.
