Timney Triggers is rolling out the latest trigger in the company's People’s Choice Line of Excellence Triggers – The Hit. Designed to work with the Remington Model 700, this drop-in trigger design is particularly oriented for 700-platform rifles designed for long-range shooting and competition use. The features found in The Hit are incorporated as a result of the demands made by consumers for a new trigger design, which explains its position in the "People's Choice" product lineup.

Timney’s engineers analyzed the company's existing Model 700 trigger line and created a design that features new geometry for the trigger. The robust Hit trigger features the new Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock design (SEAL'd), which ensures a user-friendly experience and is adjustable for pull weight and overtravel but is still delicate enough to be set to a pull weight anywhere from 8 ounces to 2 pounds.

The Hit is machined using state-of-the-art technology, without metal injection molding or stamped metal parts. The trigger’s sear and trigger shoe are precision-machined, heat treated to 56 Rockwell hardness and features a black oxide trigger coating with a NP-3 plated sear for maximum lubricity. The Hit is backed by the legendary Timney No Hassle Lifetime Warranty  for a lifetime of reliable performance..

The Timney Hit trigger for the Remington 700 capitalizes on Timney’s years of experience building outstanding triggers for a wide variety of firearms. The Hit is available in straight and curved trigger shoe styles, with either a black or nickel-plated finish. MSRP on the black finish is $230.99 and the MSRP for the nickel-plated version is $236.99. More information is available at timneytriggers.com.
