The new AK Vanguard from FAB Defense is an M-Lok-Compatible AK/AKM Handguard that is installed without any alterations or need for a gunsmith, and the simple integration into the AK platform makes it one of the most user-friendly handguard models available today. The AK Vanguard teams up ease of use with practical applications, and adds in durability, and on-demand performance. The 12- and 6-o'clock positions on the AK Vanguard rail are set up for easy installation of forward grips and optics, and plenty of space remains for additional accessories on the 2-, 4-, 8- and 10-o'clock positions. Three different 1913 M-Lok Picatinny rail sections are included in various lengths in order to provide you with an almost unlimited options for customizing your AK.

Adding a sling to the AK Vanguard is easy and simple. There are two QD swivel sockets that are integrated into the handguard, allowing your rifle to ride the shoulder comfortably while still remaining accessible during the mission. The AK Vanguard is loaded with other options, while still maintaining its core feature of durability. The polymer construction ensures the handguard is ready for serious use, and an integrated heatshield creates proper thermal insulation. The AK Handguard installs using the flexible railing system to give the accessories you need, where you need them.
