Truglo Inc. is rolling out a new family of optical red-dot sights; the IGNiTE series, which provides shooters with a robust and reliable red-dot optic for fast target acquisition in close-quarters. The IGNiTE series optics are aimed at shooters who are looking for an easy-to-use red dot sight which provides reliability and accuracy at a reasonable price. There are two new models to choose from:
The IGNiTE 30 mm has a large objective lens which provides a wide field of view. Designed primarily for tactical carbine applications, the IGNiTE 30 mm includes front and rear lens caps and a machined cantilever Picatinny rail mount which provides an absolute co-witness with standard-height iron sights.
The IGNiTE Mini is a compact and versatile design built for a variety of tactical applications. A Picatinny mount is preinstalled on the sight which provides a lower-third co-witness with standard AR-15 iron sights. This higher mount can easily be changed for the included lower mount for other applications such as shotguns, railed handguns and scout rifles. The optic mounting system is compatible with T1/H1 mounts and adapters and includes a dust cover.
Both sights feature a power system that runs on a single AAA battery, and the 2-MOA dot in both sights provides a precise point of aim. Brightness controlled by digital +/- push-buttons and a four-hour idle auto-off prevents accidental battery drain when the optic is not in use. Windage and elevation are adjustable in ½-MOA increments with a slotted adjustment tool built into the turret cap. The body design of each optic provides additional protection to the turrets, and the IGNiTE optics are Nitrogen gas-filled, fog-proof, water-resistant and shock-resistant (rated up to 7.62 NATO).
