Galco Gunleather’s new StukOn-U pocket holster builds on Galco’s decades of experience with pocket EDC rigs. The Gripper Shell exterior of this new holster design helps it grab onto the inside of your pocket, allowing for consistent and repeatable draw. The closed-cell foam substrate gives the holster shape and sturdiness, and a layer of 420-Denier packcloth lines the holster to both protect the handgun and enable a smooth, fast draw.

The StukOn-U is designed specifically for front-pocket carry in pants or a jacket. It keeps the firearm in the same general position, so the grip can be quickly and safely located as you grip your gun and start your draw. The holster is made to conceal the shape of the gun, so that its outline is not printed through the pants, and allows one-handed release of gun from both pocket and holster. The StukOn-U holster is especially designed to be used with a “hooking” draw technique, which catches the trigger-guard edge of the holster on the pocket as the handgun is released. Finally, the holster’s Gripper Shell surface assists in keeping the holster in the pocket during the draw.

Each StukOn-U holster is designed to take advantage of the unique strengths of pocket carry, such as having the handgun completely covered and concealed when it’s not needed, but allowing you to casually place a hand on the holstered/pocketed pistol if a nonspecific threat materializes. In addition to this, when your gun is needed, starting with your hand already on the gun effectively halves your draw time, allowing to get your gun into play when you need it most.

The Galco StukOn-U pocket holster has a retail price of $27, and more information is available at galcogunleather.com.
