Fix It Sticks has long been known for its collection of firearm-specific tool kits, like those aimed for the AR-15 or the Glock, as well as specially designed tool kits for other outdoor hobbies, like biking. Now, Fix It Sticks developed two general-purpose tool kits designed to tackle a range of situations encountered by today's professional and competitive shooters.

The first new kit introduced is The Duo, combining the company's popular Torque Limiter Kit along with the AR-15 Field Maintenance Kit into a total package designed for use across multiple rifle platforms. One of the most-innovative features found in Fix It Sticks' tool kits are the company's unique torque limiters, which are sized to fit any 1/4-inch hex-bit driver and are designated with a certain number of inch-pounds of torque. Once these limiters hit that pre-set torque requirement, the limiter will break free and spin freely to prevent over-tightening.

The Duo kit provides these torque limiters with pre-set torque limits of 65, 45, 25 and 15 inch-pounds, along with a 1/2-inch socket and adapter sized to fit the limiter and other tools. Along with the torque limiters, the kit also ships with 24 other bits, each chrome-plated to resist corrosion. The bit adapters also allow for the use of 8-32 TPI threaded tools, which makes it compatible with many cleaning components on the market. Other features found in The Duo includes carbon scrapers, metal and plastic punches, castle-nut wrench, a set of 8-32 TPI brass cleaning rods and an A2 front-sight adjustment tool all contained in a soft-sided carrying case.

For consumers looking to step up with a few more tools, Fix It Sticks also launched its The Works kit, which includes all of the features found in The Duo with the addition of several other maintenance tools designed to enhance a user's capability to work on handguns, shotguns and other firearms in the field. In addition to the bits, rods and other adjustment tools included in The Duo, The Works also includes a 1911 bushing tool, Glock front-sight bit, universal choke-tube wrench and a miniaturized pry bar. All of the tools are contained inside an easily carried and stored soft-sided case complete with molded storage slots to keep bits organized while not in use.

The suggested retail price on the Fix It Sticks The Duo kit is $240, while The Works retails for $280.
