Tactical Solutions (TacSol) is a leader in rimfire accessories and firearms, and the company's new X-Ring VR Series of rifles is poised to become the most versatile .2 2LR semiautomatic rifles available today. Available with stocks from such well-known names as Magpul, Hogue and TacSol’s own Vantage RS stock, the X-Ring VR Series is designed from the ground up to adapt to each shooter’s unique needs.

“We pride ourselves on always staying ahead of the competition with our products,” said Chet Alvord, vice president of sales and marketing for Tactical Solutions. “All of us at TacSol have worked painstakingly hard to create such a versatile rifle. We believe that the VR will become a staple within our product line and we believe our customers will see the difference after the first shot.”

Featuring an extremely lightweight aluminum .920-inch barrel and billet aluminum receiver, the X-Ring VR series can be configured to be charged with either the right hand or the left hand, and all models feature the Ruger BX Trigger for maximum accuracy. Each model of X-Ring VR rifle has an integrated 15-MOA Picatinny rail on the top of the receiver for mounting optics or accessories, and the rifles also have an extended magazine release for fast, easy reloads.

What is the Greatest Defensive Skill?

You can say what you want to about your favorite defensive school or those advanced-fighting techniques you learned, but the greatest defensive skill that a person can develop is simply awareness. I will freely admit that developing effective awareness is anything but simple, but being able to spot trouble before it is close enough to get in your face will certainly save you from a lot of trouble and possibly even some pain and grief.
