Designed as a casual, easily concealed, everyday carry holster, the Comp-Tac eV2 is purpose-built for use in the two o'clock, appendix-carry position. The design, previously known as the eVade, has been updated in 2019 with a new name and a number of new holster fits, ensuring that consumers have a versatile rig that fits their needs.

"Adding new make and model fits to all our holsters is an ongoing goal for Comp-Tac," said Gordon Carrell, general manager of Comp-Tac. "There are many great weapons companies out there that are making more concealed-carry options every day. Adding more fits to our holsters is an important part of our support of individuals or professionals that carry a firearm."

Constructed completely of Kydex, the Comp-Tac eV2 is built for deep concealment and is constructed with a smooth exterior finish that allows users to wear the holster for long periods of time. The interior of the holster is also smoothly finished, ensuring that owners will experience a fast, friction-free draw when needed.

Each Comp-Tac eV2 holster attaches to the belt with a Nylon belt clip, which simultaneously secures the rig into place inside the waistband while also preventing snags or damage from occurring on belts or cover garments. The belt clip is tuckable, allowing users to place their shirts over their gun and between the inside of their pants and the exterior of the holster. When situated, the only noticeable component of the carry rig is the belt clip.

Located on the outside of the holster is the trademarked Comp-Tac KICK feature, a wing that pushes against a gun belt to draw the grip of a holstered gun toward the wearer's body. This reduces the chances of printing, further maximizing the ability of the eV2 to reliably and easily conceal a holstered gun under clothing. An adjustment screw located in the holster body allows users to fine-tune the level of friction retention offered by the form-fitted design.

Holster fits are available for guns from many of today's major manufacturers, including the Ruger Security-9 and the new-for-2019 Glock G43X and G48. Suggested retail pricing on the Comp-Tac eV2 appendix-carry holster is $57.
