New for 2019: Seekins Precision HAVAK Bravo Rifle

Joining the growing number of long-range chassis rifles on the market, Seekins Precision announced the launch of its HAVAK Bravo, the latest tactical rifle in the company's lineup. To produce the new precision model, Seekins paired up its trusted HAVAK rifle action with the innovative Bravo Chassis from Kinetic Research Group.

Designed particularly with the popular Precision Rifle Shooting sport in mind, the Seekins Precision HAVAK Bravo aimed to ensure that consumers had a platform they could fine-tune and customize to their shooting needs. The KRG Bravo Chassis is constructed to offer a blend of ergonomics with a solid bedding platform for a tuned rifle action like the HAVAK. Each chassis is built with a full-length backbone machined from aluminum and designed to prevent the entire unit from flexing under recoil, adversely affecting accuracy.

Particular attention is paid to the machining of the aluminum in the bedding area of the gun, and tolerances are held to tight standards to ensure that rifle actions like the HAVAK are bedded precisely. Those looking to attach accessories to their Seekins Precision HAVAK Bravo rifle can do so with ease, since the chassis accepts all M-Lok accessory attachments. Equipped with an AICS-compatible magazine well, each rifle also ships with a 5-round Magpul P-Mag. Other features of the stock include an integrated barrier stop, included length-of-pull spacers for adjustment and a tool-less comb piece that allows users to custom-fit their cheek rest.

Of course, the heart of the Seekins Precision HAVAK Bravo rifle is the HAVAK action itself, which is paired with the company's match-grade, 5R-rifled barrel made from stainless steel. The barrel also features a 5/8-24 TPI threaded muzzle, which is compatible with most standard muzzle devices and sound suppressors on the market. On the action itself, consumer will find a 20-MOA Picatinny optics rail secured into place with five 8/32 screws. The full-diameter bolt body features a removable knob mounted on 5/16-inch threads, and the bolt itself features four locking lugs with a 90-degree bolt throw. Each bolt features a helical extraction cam, along with an M16-style extractor.

Other features of the Seekins Precision HAVAK Bravo rifle include an integrated recoil lug, matte Armor-Blak finish and a Timney 510 trigger, which is factory-set for a 3-pound release. The overall weight of the rifle, unloaded, is 9.8 pounds, and the Bravo Chassis can be had in FDE, black or green finishes. Available caliber options are: 6 mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win. and 6.5 PRC. The suggested retail price on the rifle is $1,950.
