Each Wilson Combat Vickers Elite Commander 1911 is constructed with a frame and slide forged from carbon steel. The match-grade barrel is machined from stainless steel and features a flush-cut revers crown and fluted chamber. The gun features a traditional bushing-style takedown, having been equipped with a stainless-steel thick-flange barrel bushing located at the muzzle end. The frame and slide are hand-fitted to provide optimum accuracy while remaining reliable enough for defensive use.
On the Professional-size frame, consumers will find the front strap checkered with 30 LPI high-cut serrations, as well as the company's Bullet Proof Round Butt Magazine Well.
