This ensures hunters, in particular, can take a clear shot in the early morning or late evening hours.

Offering 6X variable magnification, the MeoStar R2 2.5-15x56 optic is constructed with high-quality Schott lens glass, which is finished with the company's specially formulated MeoLux lens coating. According to the company's own examination, this combination provides a light-transmission rating of 99.8 percent, enabling users to get on their optic earlier and stay on it longer in rapidly fading light.
The optic is built on a durable 30 mm main-body tube, machined from aluminum alloy and compatible with a wide number of scope rings on the market. In addition to the high-clarity MeoLux coating, the optic lenses are also finished with the company's MeoDrop coating, a hydrophobic treatment designed to drive away snow and rain as well as protect against skin oils, dirt and dust. The scope body features a hard-anodized finish to better guard against wear and corrosion. The exterior surfaces of the lenses are also protected against scratches and potential damage through the company's MeoShield coating.
Four reticle options are available for the MeoStar R2 2.5-15x56 RD optic: 4C-RD, 4K-RD, BDC 2 and BDC 3. Each of the reticles are parallax-free out to a distance of 100 yards and are all illuminated with eight different rheostat settings, enabling users to customize the brightness of the illuminated reticle to better-match field conditions. Elevation and windage adjustments are easily made through zero-reset turrets that can be accessed and adjusted even with gloved hands. The eyepiece also allows for rapid focusing when shifting magnification.
