Previously only available for the popular AR-15 and Remington 700 rifle platforms, Timney Triggers added a third model to its lineup of Calvin Elite triggers, giving owners of the popular Ruger 10/22 a chance to customize the shape and feel of their rifle's trigger.

Each Timney Calvin Elite trigger is constructed with a single-piece trigger assembly that's machined entirely from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Inside each trigger assembly is a trigger, sear and hammer made from wire EDM-cut steel that's heat-treated to provide added strength and service life. In all, the Calvin Elite is entirely self-contained and drops in easily. Consumers simply have to remove two pins inside the action of any factory-standard Ruger 10/22, drop in the trigger assembly and replace the pins.

One of the stand-out features of the Calvin Elite series of triggers from Timney is the ability of the end-user to customize the trigger shoe found on each model. In all, four different trigger shoes are included with each trigger: curved, flat, heeled and knurled. With the innovative attachment system used on the Calvin Elite trigger, each individual trigger shoe can be adjusted for length of pull, height and cast, providing an unprecedented level of customization.

In addition to the shoe-customization options offered on the trigger assembly, the Calvin Elite also provides some other added benefits. Before leaving the factory, each assembly is tuned to provide a crisp, 2-pound trigger pull that offers zero creep. The trigger is also built with the company's own magazine-release design, allowing 10/22 owners to release the magazine with a single finger. The trigger also automatically released the bolt once a new magazine is inserted.

Before being sent out to consumers, each Timney Calvin Elite trigger is also assembled, calibrated and tested in the receiver of the specific rifle model for which the trigger is designed, so consumers can be sure that it'll fit in their factory rifles with ease. The suggested retail price on the Timney Calvin Elite trigger for the Ruger 10/22 is $269.95.
