Each LensPen features separate ends designed for use in a two-step process. First, a retractable brush is used to remove all dust and dirt from the surface of the lens. After the lens is cleared of loose debris, users twist a cap off the opposite end of the LensPen, revealing a carbon-coated cleaning tip. The molecular-carbon formula eliminates stuck-on dirt, oil and fingerprints, leaving a spotless lens surface. On the inside of the cap is a carbon-coated pad, which recharges the cleaning tip each time the cap is replaced. The pad provides enough carbon for more than 500 uses.
