Providing enhanced aesthetics to the durable line of .380 ACP pistols in the company's lineup, Remington announced the availability of the RM380 Executive at the end of 2018. This new model incorporates several added features designed to facilitate easy carry and comfortable shooting.

Like all of the company's .380 pistols, the Remington RM380 Executive is constructed on an all-metal frame machined from 7075 aluminum. A hard-anodized black finish protects the frame from corrosion and damage, and the addition of Laminate Macassar grip panels provide an upgraded look and feel to the pistol. The grip panels include wide areas of textured finish on the flats of each panel, providing improved grip.

A shooter's hold on the diminutive pistol is also enhanced by texturing on the front strap of the frame, as well as an undercut trigger guard that allows the gun to sit lower in the strong hand. To protect the web of a user's hand, the rear of the frame is built with an extended beavertail. Other features found on the frame include an ambidextrous, push-button magazine release and a grip angle designed to facilitate intuitive aiming and improved recoil management.

The two-tone look of the Remington RM380 Executive is completed with the addition of a stainless-steel slide atop the anodized-aluminum frame. The slide features cocking serrations located at the rear, and integral iron sights allow for aiming without protruding far enough from the top of the slide to snag on clothing, holsters and other objects. Measuring 2.75 inches in length and featuring a 1:16-inch rate of twist, the 410 stainless-steel barrel is one of the longest barrels found on a pocket-sized .380 ACP personal-defense pistol, providing increased velocity compared to comparably sized guns.

Other features of the Remington RM380 Executive include a last-round bolt hold-open and a double action-only trigger designed to strike a balance between accurate, consistent shooting and safety. Each pistol also incorporates a unique Light Dual Recoil Spring system, which provides the spring strength necessary for reliable operation while also allowing the pistol to be easily racked by those with weaker hand strength.

Each Remington RM380 Executive measures 5.27 inches long, 3.86 inches high and weighs in at 12.2 ounces, unloaded. According to the factory, trigger-pull weight comes in at an average of 10 pounds. The gun ships with two six-round magazines, and the suggested retail price on the pistol is $405.
