First Look: Comp-Tac Beltfeed Magazine Pouch

Comp-Tac Victory Gear introduced its new Beltfeed Magazine Pouch, designed to provide competition shooters, civilian carriers and law-enforcement officers with a customizable carry belt that provides them with four readily available magazines for competition or personal defense.

The Comp-Tac Beltfeed Magazine Pouch is designed to offer shooters a versatile and flexible spare-mag carrier, allowing them to store magazines with cartridges facing front or to the rear. The individual carrier buckets are also adjustable for retention and pull speed. Each Beltfeed unit features four separate magazine carriers, which are all staggered in order to store four magazines while reducing the amount of space that the carrier takes up on the user's belt.

An added benefit to the staggered arrangement on the Beltfeed mag carrier is that it allows shooters to quickly and easily locate a spare magazine for a reload. Due to the reduced spacing between each magazine body, shooters feeling for a reload can go to the same spot each time and find a magazine close by without fumbling across a lengthened carrier setup.

One of the other benefits of the Comp-Tac Beltfeed Magazine Pouch is the fact that it provides a usable piece of gear for shooters of smaller stature, such as women or junior-division competitors. These shooters, with small-size waists, can use the Beltfeed to carry the same number of magazines on their waist without taking up the real estate that other mag carriers do, ensuring that they can ultimately fit more equipment on their gun belt.

This feature is a benefit especially for law-enforcement officers, who often carry a great deal of equipment on their waist, allowing them to appreciate the benefit of using a magazine carrier that reduces the amount of belt space needed for carry.

The Comp-Tac Beltfeed Magazine Pouch is sold in several different models, which fit magazines for more than 150 different handguns. The carriers are constructed from Kydex and can be had in black, red, blue, purple and pink color finishes. The suggested retail price on the mag pouch is $99.99.
