Trijicon introduced the latest product in its AccuPoint line in 2017: the 4-16x50 mm riflescope. This new optic is designed to provide hunters and shooters with a battery-free illuminated reticle in a long-range precision optic.

The 4-16x50 AccuPoint riflescope is built with an aircraft-grade aluminum housing, which features a hard-anodized finish that protects against scratches, scrapes and dings, as well as extreme weather conditions. The optic is constructed with a 30 mm main-body tube and features a 50 mm objective lens. In addition, the latest AccuPoint boasts increased eye relief for use on magnum rifles with heavy recoil.

Inside the optic, users will find a tritium/fiber-optic system that provides reticle illumination without the use of electronics or batteries. Instead, the fiber-optic network uses the natural glow of tritium to provide a visible aiming point, allowing shooters to get on target quicker and use their optics easily in dawn and dusk hunting hours or range time. Clarity and brightness in these low-light hours is increased through the use of fully multicoated lenses constructed with non-reflective glass.

Features of the Trijicon 4-16x50 mm AccuPoint riflescope include capped turrets, which offer users .25-MOA or .1-mil adjustments for both windage and elevation. The total adjustment range for both turrets is 80 MOA. The optic is also equipped with a parallax-focus knob located on the side of the main-body tube, ensuring that users can eliminate point-of-impact shift resulting from parallax at most any range.

The scope sports a zoom ring with a knob, which is compatible with an extender that is sold separately. These two features allow shooters in cold weather to use gloved hands to quickly and easily adjust their magnification level.

The new 4-16x50 mm AccuPoint riflescope is available in six different reticle options. Duplex crosshair, MOA-dot crosshair and Mil-dot crosshair reticles are all available with green illumination. The triangle-post reticle comes in either red, green or amber illumination. All reticle options are located in the second focal plane.

The suggested retail price on the Trijicon 4-16x50 mm AccuPoint riflescope is $999.
