Propper announced the addition of its new RevTac Tactical Pants, which are a modernized version of the company's leading product, the Lightweight Tactical Pants.
"We wanted to create a pant that didn’t scream tactical, yet offered the functional features everyone who wears tactical pants is looking for," said Joe Ruggeri, senior vice president of merchandising and product development. "Customers have been asking for a more streamlined look that didn’t sacrifice function, and we think RevTac delivers."
The RevTac Tactical Pants are constructed from the company's 6.4-ounce cotton-polyester ripstop fabric blend, which is the same material used in the flagship Lightweight Tactical Pant. The fabric features 65 percent polyester and 35 percent cotton. In addition, the fabric is treated with a Teflon coating that offers resistance to stains and dirt buildup.
The overall design of the pants are streamlined, giving it rounded edges in order to provide users with a low-profile appearance that doesn't scream "tactical." Some of the details included on the pants include welt back pockets, as well as knife pockets located at the hips. On the pant legs, rounded pocket flaps complete the look. For added organization and versatility, the RevTac pants come equipped with pockets that feature internal dividers, giving wearers space for spare magazines, knives, flashlights and other everyday carry gear.
For movement, the pants feature a gusseted crotch, as well as a waistband that incorporates a gripper strip, which secures shirts inside the waistband and keeps them from slipping out from stretching and movement. The pants also feature reinforced knees for added durability, and 1-inch belt loops allow for the use of a wide range of belts on the market.
The Propper RevTac Tactical Pants are available for both men and women and come in six colors: black, charcoal, coyote, khaki, olive and LAPD navy. The suggested retail price on the new pants is $44.99.
