The new-for-2017 MasterFire Rapid Deploy Holster system from SureFire allows owners of multiple kinds of handguns to use the same holster for each design, due to the unique attachment method of this handgun holster.

The SureFire MasterFire holster features an open-top design that can be used with nearly any kind of handgun because of the holster's ability to latch onto the attached weaponlight of any handgun. The design also enables users to incorporate red-dot optics, suppressors and other accessories without compromising the use of the holster.

The MasterFire uses a unique light-activation switch that can automatically turn on any H-Series SureFire weaponlight mounted in the holster. The unit is designed to work with H-Series lights only. This ensures that users don't have an added manipulation step in their draw process, allowing them to focus on proper grip and sight alignment rather than switching the light on during the draw stroke.

The system can be switched off easily for situations where automatic light deployment is not an advantage. Other features of the holster include a lug-and-cam locking system that secures the handgun into the holster with a level 3 retention system, ensuring security.

Another feature of the holster is the ability to be easily customized, depending on the hand size and shooting style of the user. The MasterFire ships with two release levers to accommodate different shooters. The rig is also adjustable for use on duty belts with thicknesses up to 2.5 inches. In addition, the holster is positioned at an ideal angle to provide for a quick and repeatable draw stroke.

The MasterFire holster is constructed of lightweight polymer and is designed to withstand heavy use. The total weight of the holster is 8.75 ounces, and the unit measures 8.25 inches in length and 4.48 inches in width.

The SureFire MasterFire Rapid Deploy Holster is designed and built in the United States and sells at a suggested retail price of $165.39.
