Caldwell, a division of Battenfeld Technologies, announced the addition of the Stinger Shooting Rest to its product lineup, providing shooters with a new rest designed to increase user functionality and improve rifle stability.

The Stinger features a newly designed front elevation system, which uses a spring-loaded height adjustment knob that allows users to easily adjust elevation by using only one hand. The new rest also features improved front and rear supports that ensure a user's gun does not get scratched or otherwise damaged in any way through the sudden recoil movement across the rest surfaces.

The supports are mounted on a heavy-duty medal frame, which incorporates a quick-cam lock that enables the Stinger to slide rearward to provide a custom overall length for any size rifle or shotgun. The rest also features fine elevation adjustment ability through the use of a fingertip control knob.

The rest provides a total of 3 inches of front elevation and 1 inch of rear elevation, as well as 3.5 inches of lateral gun-fit adjustment and length adjustment. The front rest itself has another 3 inches of elevation adjustment, ensuring that shooters will have all the room they need to get their shots on target.

The suggested retail price of the Caldwell Stinger Shooting Rest is $119.99.
