Vertx announced the introduction of brand-new tactical pants divided into two models: the Hyde and Hyde LT pants.

"No one wants to stand out when they’re at work, the movies or at a restaurant with their family, but they still want to be prepared," said Darrell Morrow, vice president of Vertx. "These ‘no-profile’ pants allow the prepared professional to blend in, look good and be comfortable, yet still perform. It’s a simple concept really: be prepared without looking tactical."

The new line of pants is designed for users looking for comfort and practicality, as well as extra storage space for gear. The pants feature stretch fabric and can easily store everything from cell phones to spare magazines easily with its "no-profile" construction.

The Vertx Hyde Pant uses the company's Vapor Core 37.5 Technology, which is designed to keep wearers dry and cool while providing a wide range of movement. The difference between the two pants is in the fabric weight. The Hyde Pant is constructed with heavier 7-ounce fabric, while the Hyde LT Pant features lightweight construction using 5-ounce fabric.

Other features of the two pants include a relaxed-fit waistband and a gusseted crotch. For storage, the pants have two utility pockets hidden above the back pockets, while the front pockets are located lower on the pant leg for easy access, even with a holster. The right side of the pants feature a "dump pocket" that allows for discreet storage of cell phones, pistol magazines or other accessories. Another small utility pocket is located inside of the bottom cuffs of the pants.

For added cooling, the pants feature a zippered vent pocket on the seam of each leg that provides extra air circulation. For added durability, the pants include a reinforced heel kick plate, as well as pocket corners reinforced with metal rivets.
