Crimson Trace will offer its Laserguard as a factory-installed option for the Walther PPS M2 pistol, announced the company.

“When we introduced the new PPS M2 pistol without an accessory rail, people loved how smooth and slim the pistol was,” said Luke Thorkildsen, Walther Arms VP of marketing and product development. “The Crimson Trace Laserguard is the perfect addition to the compact PPS M2, because you get to have the best of both worlds.”

The first Crimson Trace Laserguard was unveiled to gun owners in 2007, and the company has since produced dozens of models designed to equip handguns with a custom-fit laser sight. On the Walther PPS M2, the laser sight is formed around the trigger guard of the Walther and uses the company's Instictive Activation system, allowing users to turn the laser on once a firing grip is obtained.

The Crimson Trace Laserguard is adjustable for both windage and elevation and is an eligible product under the company's Free Batteries for Life program. The company also provides custom holsters designed to fit the laser-equipped PPS M2.

Those who already own the Walther PPS M2 and are looking to mount their own laser sight to the gun can grab the LG-482 Laserguard model direct from Crimson Trace or any of the company's retail partners. The suggested retail price of the LG-482 Laserguard is $229.
