American Built Arms is joining forces with Keystone Sporting Arms in order to produce the new Keystone PT Performance Rifle. The new rifle will use a custom chassis based on A*B Arms' Mod*X Modular Rifle System.

“We are really excited about working with the outstanding team over at Keystone Sporting Arms," said Jason Combs, A*B Arms founder and president. "We’ve known these guys for some time and since we are both Pennsylvania-based companies, we decided to jointly develop a rifle using our lightweight aluminum MOD*X chassis system with their extremely accurate 722 barreled action.”

Keystone Sporting Arms, based in Milton, PA, is a 21-year-old firearms manufacturer dedicated to building youth firearms. The company is known for its Crickett and Chipmunk rifles, and the company aims to teach young shooters the rules of shooting and have knowledge and respect for firearms.

“Keystone has always focused on producing accurate and affordable .22 bolt action rifles for the youth market," said Bill McNeal, president of Keystone Sporting Arms. "We’ve had great success with our Crickett and 722 line of youth rifles and decided to expand our line into an aluminum chassis rifle system using our 722 barreled action. "We liked what we saw in A*B Arms; their attention to detail, modern designs and great customer service made it a no brainer to team up with these guys for this project. They are also veteran-owned and manufacture everything in the U.S.A., which is near and dear to our hearts.”

Keystone Sporting Arms will officially launch its PT Performance Rifle at the 2017 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Atlanta, GA. The show takes place April 27 to 30, and visitors wishing to see the new rifle can visit Keystone Sporting Arms booth No. 1401.
