The interior of the pack uses pockets for organization and features a dual-access compartment for laptop storage. The compartment can also be used to store a handgun for CCW purposes. The interior of the pack is also compatible with water-bladder hydration systems. The interior of the pack also features a high-visibility lining for emergency situations. The total size of the pack is 19 inches high, 13 inches wide and 9 inches deep.

Other features include a internal key-retention clip to ensure that keys don't get lost on rough hikes. The pack is also customizable with several hook-and-loop patch areas for personalizing and labeling packs. In addition, the pack features easy-to-grab zippers with extended and reinforced pull tabs for easy access to the interior.

Shooting Illustrated received an Expandable Backpack from Propper, and we stuffed it full and submitted the pack to the tortures of airline travel. After going through baggage handling, the pack was no worse for wear. The pack is available in black, coyote tan, multicam and olive. The suggested retail price on the bag is $99.99.
