Bushnell designed its new AR Optics Rush laser sight as an easy-to-use laser-sighting option that's perfect for close-range shooting, all while giving shooters the ability to mount any optic on the included high-rise mount.

“Like the Bushnell Chase, the Rush combines two essential accessories,” Bushnell AR Optics Line Manager Bryan Parrish said. “It takes the optics mount and makes it a dual-purpose accessory. These purpose-built products with industry-leading technology embody the AR Optics line, and they further expand the AR Optics supremacy within this key category of the firearms market.”

The Rush offers AR-15 rifle owners the ability to mount any standard red-dot optic or other small sighting accessory to the top of their rifle's rail, co-witnessing the optic with a standard A2 front-sight gas block found on many AR rifles on the market. The laser allows owners to quickly engage targets at close range, thanks to the offset laser beam that runs alongside the left edge of the rifle, unimpeded by the front sight or other accessories.

The Bushnell AR Optics Rush also provides the added benefit of incorporating two commonly used AR-15 accessories into one platform, eliminating the need for rifle owners to clutter up their fore-end with multiple devices in order to accomplish the same ends. The laser sight mounts to any standard Picatinny rail, making it easy and simple to use. Optics that mount using a Picatinny-rail attachment system can be placed on top of the Rush, thanks to its integrated Picatinny rail segment.

The Rush laser sight produces a 5 milli-watt Class IIIa laser beam that's available in either red or green, and the unit is operated through a push-button setup that provides constant-on operation. The housing used on the Rush is completely waterproof, enabling it to withstand the harsh environments to which AR rifles can be subjected. Another added feature is the ability to easily replace the battery in the housing without removing the unit from the rail, enabling shooters to maintain zero.

The suggested retail price on the red-laser model of the Bushnell Rush laser sight is $275.95, while the green-laser model retails at a suggested price of $375.95.
