New SilencerCo Suppressors for 2017

SilencerCo rolled out a host of new products for 2017, expanding its full-auto-rated Omega K series of suppressors and releasing the redesigned Saker ASR line. The company also confirmed the production launch of the Maxim 9 integrally suppressed pistol this year.

The new Omega 9K is based on the full-size Omega suppressor, but this new one is designed to be the smallest, lightest and quietest suppressor of its kind. The suppressor is designed to work with pistols, rifles and submachine guns in calibers ranging from 9 mm to .300 BLK. The Omega 9K measures 4.7 inches in length and 1.475 inches in diameter and weighs just 8.8 ounces, including the direct-thread mount. For 9 mm, muzzle sound is measured at 131.5 decibels. for .300 BLK, the suppressor measures in at 133.7 decibels. The suggested retail price on the Omega 9K is $865.

The company's new Saker ASR line comes in designs for 7.62 NATO and 5.56 NATO, with two options for the latter: the 556 and the 556K.

The Saker ASR 762 is made from Stellite and stainless steel and works with bolt-action, semi-automatic and full-automatic firearms in calibers ranging from 5.56 NATO to .300 RUM. Total length of the suppressor is 8.5-10 inches, while the diameter is 1.5 inches. Total weight of the suppressor is 23.4 ounces. Sound ratings for the 762 are as follows: 129.6 decibels for 5.56 NATO, 132.9 decibels for 7.62 NATO, 126.2 decibels for .300 BLK and 137.7 decibels for .300 Win. Mag. The suggested retail price for the Saker ASR 762 is $972.

The Saker ASR 556 features the same construction as the 762 model and is designed to work with bolt-action, semi-automatic and full-automatic firearms chambered in 5.56 NATO. The suppressor measures 6.37-7.33 inches in length, while the diameter is 1.5 inches. Total weight is 16.7 ounces. Sound rating for 5.56 NATO use is 134 decibels. The suggested retail price is $864.

Finally, the company offers the Saker ASR 556K, which features the same design and construction as the other two suppressors in the Saker ASR lineup. However, the 556K features an overall length of 5.46-6.42 inches with a diameter of 1.5 inches. Total weight is 14.2 ounces. The suppressor measures in at 136.1 decibels with 5.56 NATO. The suggested retail price is $770.
