The new VX-3i Long Range Precision (LRP) riflescopes from Leupold are based on the company's popular VX-3i line and are designed as competitively priced options for long-range shooters looking for a quality optic.

"Long-range shooting has exploded over the past few years, thanks to the growing number of high-quality, affordable precision rifles," said Tim Lesser, vice president of product development for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. "We’ve taken more than 70 years of experience in precision optics and put that into the VX-3i LRP. The result is a high-end, long-range riflescope that’s within most people’s budget, be it for PRS, long-range target shooting or even hunting."

The VX-3i LRP features the company's patented Twilight Max light management system and features a number of tools necessary for long-range precision. The scope features large, easily adjustable dials that include a zero stop. The capped windage adjustment also comes with a thread protector for shooters who want instant access to their windage adjustment.

Scope adjustments are available in 0.25 MOA or 0.01 MIL adjustments, and reticles are matched in either MOA or MILs, depending on the user's preference. The scope will be available with both first focal plane and second focal plane reticles. In addition, all VX-3i LRP scopes comes with a removable quick-change throw lever attached to the power selector ring. For those who wish to remove this feature, Leupold includes a plug for use after unscrewing the selector.

Model options are available in 4.5-14x50, 6.5-20x50 and 8.5-25x50. Suggested retail prices start at $1,064.99 and top out at $1,249.99.
