Flying Circle Brazos Concealed Carry Backpack

Flying Circle Brazos Concealed Carry Backpack

Flying Circle, a Texas-based company that supplies field, tactical and travel bags for the U.S. military, just launched a line of concealed carry backpacks starting with the Brazos backpack.

The Brazos is designed as an all-in-one backpack option for those in the military, those wanting an everyday carry bag and those who need a rugged bag for outdoor use. It is constructed from a hardy water-resistant polyester fabric to ensure durability.

The Brazos is a tactical pack that offers durability, comfort and functionality with an array of storage options. The pack contains more than 20 different pockets and compartments for organizing gear for any conceivable activity, from military use to leisurely outdoor hikes.

The pack also provides room for expansion and customization with MOLLE webbing on the front, sides, top, bottom, straps, belt and the interior of the center pocket.

On the back, the Brazos features a hidden pocket with two separate openings on either side of the pack that can function as a secure concealed carry compartment. The pocket can also be completely unzipped and slipped over the handle of a rolling suitcase when traveling.

On the outside of the pack, there are multiple pockets sized to fit varying items. The backpack strap and waist strap both contain small pockets that are perfect for storing everyday essentials like keys, wallets, phones and pocket knives.

Inside the pack, two center compartments provide storage space for tablets and laptops up to 15 inches long. The interior also includes an organizer panel for small items.

“If you like a backpack that is feature rich, then the Brazos is for you,” Flying Circle President Jimmy Chittim said.  “This thing has pockets inside pockets that are inside a pocket.”

In addition to multiple storage options, the Brazos is also designed with features that make long trips much easier. The pack includes a padded back and straps along with a mesh lining that provides ventilation in warmer climates.

The Brazos features a number of additional straps that offer further support, like a sternum strap and compression straps to provide control and balance. The compression straps also allow users to carry poles, rods and sleeping bags with ease.

“It’s highly adjustable, so you can configure the straps and waist belt to meet your specific needs,” Chittim said.

The pack also features a hydration sleeve that allows systems with a capacity of up to 3 liters to be carried.

The Brazos backpack is available in either black or coyote brown and retails for a suggested price of $134.95.
