Warne Scope Mounts designed its new Mountain Tech scope rings with one credo in mind: "Ounces are pounds, and pounds are pain."

The company calls its new Mountain Tech line of scope rings the "ultimate" lightweight precision scope mounting system. The rings are CNC-machined from 7075 T6 aluminum and weigh in at a total of 3.95 ounces. For comparison, the company's steel Maxima QD scope rings weigh in at 6.38 ounces.

The rings are secured with stainless steel hardware and feature a hard-coat anodized finish for corrosion resistance. They fit both Picatinny and Weaver-style mounts and are compatible with NATO STANAG hardware.

Mountain Tech scope rings are available in 1-inch, 30 mm and 34 mm tube sizes, as well as low, medium, high and MSR-ideal heights. The suggested retail price for the rings is $129.99.
