Tyrant Designs, a company with decades of experience in CNC machining in medical, defense and aerospace fields, has decided to branch out into firearms accessories. The MOD ForeGrip is the company's first model in a planned lineup of AR foregrips.

"We feel that foregrips are a great solution for anyone who desires more muzzle control, and we look forward to adding more to this line in 2017," a company statement said.

The MOD ForeGrip is CNC-machiend from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum and weighs just 1.7 ounces. The aluminum body is filled with a polymer grip that gives users extra purchase. According to the company, the grip is compatible with both M-LOK and KeyMod rail systems, using pieces of interchangeable hardware that are included with the grip.

The foregrip is available in black, red and gray, with a blue color option coming soon. The suggested retail price on the MOD ForeGrip is $69.95.
