Copper Basin Launches New Line of Mossberg Gear

Mossberg announced the launch of the Mossberg Gear line, a collection of licensed Mossberg accessories that pair up with the company's line of firearms. Currently, the company offers protective gear, slings and shotgun shell carriers.

The company's protective gear consists of several models of shooting gloves. Current options range in colors from black to coyote tan to muddy girl camo. Several design options are available. Consumers can choose from a simple black or coyote tan performance glove with textured palms and fingers to Recoil Guard Shooting Gloves with knuckle protection, barrel heat protection and specially designed touch pads. Suggested retail prices range from $19.99 to $34.99.

Mossberg also offers a collection of slings in color options ranging from black to desert tan to camo. A shotgun sling with looped shell holders is also available. In addition to the slings, the company also offers its Pak-Rat shotgun/rifle support kit. This kit works to reduce the load off a shooter's shoulder when carrying a slung rifle or shotgun. The kit includes a shock-absorbing performance sling, Rat-Tail stock support that attaches to a pack's waist support to reduce the weight of a firearm on a shoulder and a Pak-Rat Quick Clip that secures a sling to a backpack's shoulder strap, preventing it from slipping off the shoulder. Slings retail from $21.99 to $22.99, while the Pak-Rat Support Kit retails for $39.99.

Finally, the company offers a number of extra ammo storage options that allows hunters and shooters to stay in the field even longer. Mossberg Gear offers a belt-mounted shell carrier, shotgun bandolier, shotgun belt, shotgun sling and a stock-mounted shell carrier. Combined, the storage options allow for the carrying of 108 extra shotshells.
