Standard Manufacturing announced the launch of three models of exclusive AR-15 uppers. All three models are offered in 5.56 NATO, and Model B is also offered in .300 BLK.

"The Standard Manufacturing AR-15s and Upper Halves were created by our top-of-the-line engineers, using technology on the cutting edge of our industry," Standard Manufacturing President Lou Frutuoso said. "We have successfully balanced the three most important elements of our product: weight, durability and performance. I am confident that we have achieved the best firearms and upper halves available."

The upper halves from Standard Manufacturing are made on the same machines and use the same parts as the company's line of complete rifles, ensuring that quality and finish are equal on both lines.

The Model A Upper Half features a Magpul MOE M-LOK handguard with a standard Delta Ring pack and barrel nut. The receiver is a standard A3 with a flattop Picatinny rail. The upper features a Type 3 hard-coat anodized finish. The Model A also includes a carbine-length gas system with a railed gas block. The barrel features a standard A2 flash hider and a 1/8 twist. Suggested retail price on the Model A is $499.

The Model B Upper Half features a Standard Manufacturing KeyMod 10-inch Super Light free-float rail with a proprietary barrel nut. The receiver is a standard A3 style with a flattop Picatinny rail that extends the full length of the receiver and rail. The Model B also includes a carbine-length gas system with a low-profile gas block. The barrel features a Yankee Hill Machine Phantom flash hider and a 1/8 twist. Suggested retail price on the Model B is $650.

The Model C Upper Half features a C.A.R. drop-in heat shield with a standard Delta Ring pack and barrel nut. The A3 upper receiver is made to mil-spec standards and features a standard charging handle, which is detachable. The Model C also features a carbine-length gas system with an A2-style front sight featuring a sling loop and bayonet lug. The barrel features a standard A2 flash hider with a 1/8 twist. Suggested retail price on the Model C is $475.
