Ergo Grips, known for its line of AR-15 furniture and accessories, produces several helpful tools for the AR platform. Two such tools are company's Empty Chamber Flag and Pictool.

The Ergo Pictool is designed as a helpful assist in removing the company's LowPro rail covers. Simply use the flattened end to lever the rail out of the Picatinny rail slots and pull the rest of the rail off. However, the Pictool features many more uses than just removing a rail. The rounded end can be used as an easy tool to push out AR takedown pins and pivot pins. In addition, the flattened end can also be used as an assist when cleaning the hard-to-reach areas inside upper and lower receivers. The Pictool is made from molded polymer and comes in red, yellow and orange and retails at a suggested price of $5.75.

The company also provides its Empty Chamber Flag for firearm owners. the flag, made from injection-molded polymer, comes in two high-visibility colors: orange and yellow. The pointed end is inserted into a chamber, verifying that it is empty. The slide or bolt is then closed on the opposite end. Once closed, the flag protrudes from the chamber, signaling that the firearm is unloaded. The chamber flag can be used on semi-auto rifles and pistols and retails for $6.75 for a pack of three.
