Streamlight introduced three new models to its popular Strion light line. The new models include two independent switches that allow users to adjust according to their preferences.

"The ability to choose between two switch locations is a major benefit for everyone from first responders to industrial professionals and outdoor enthusiasts," said Streamlight Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Michael F. Dineen. "It gives them the flexibility to use one light for virtually any need, whether for tactical operations, troubleshooting repairs under low light conditions or for lighting up an outdoor site under darkened conditions."

The compact Strion lights feature a head-mounted switch and a second multi-function tail switch that operates independent of the head-mounted switch. The lights also feature LED technology and a far-reaching beam with long run times. Each model delivers 700 lumens at their highest setting, and run times range from one hour and 15 minutes on high to 20 hours on low.

Each model is powered by a lithium ion battery that can be recharged up to 1,000 times. Recharge time for the battery is three hours. The casing on each light is made from anodized aircraft aluminum. The lights are impact-tested up to two meters and are rated for water-resistant operation.

Suggested retail prices on Streamlight's Strion light line ranges from $147.60 to $274.23.
