Hornady's new Black ammunition line is specifically optimized for use in America's most popular firearms.

The rounds feature high-quality cases, primers and propellant that are designed and measured for premium performance, regardless of the platform. The company promises reliable function in both direct impingement and gas piston guns, whether they are suppressed or unsuppressed. The ammo will also run in rifle, mid-length, carbine or pistol gas systems. Rounds are available in both subsonic and supersonic loads.

The Hornady Black line features a variety of Hornady bullet options, depending on the user's preference. Ammo options can be found loaded with the company's SST, V-MAX, A-MAX, InterLock, ELD-Match, FTX and BTHP bullets.

Available caliber options are:

  • 5.45x39 mm
