Designed around the concept of Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas, the motto of the I.P.S.C (International Practical Shooting Confederation) - meaning Accuracy, Power, Speed, the new STI DVC Limited and Open competition pistols are designed to win matches right out of the box.

Both pistols are an entirely new design based off of the tried and true 2011 and are built specifically for competitive shooting. The guns feature a wider than standard frame with a full length dust cover with added cuts for style and balance. An all new sear design breaks like glass at a clean 2 to 2.5 pounds. The grip has been hand textured, reduced and undercut by Extreme Shooters in Havasu City, Arizona. All steel parts have been hard chromed for maximum durability in all situations. The guide rod is a Dawson Precision tool-less and the DVC models are the first factory guns to employ this innovation. Another first for STI is that both DVC pistols come with two 140mm magazines each. The 5-inch precision-fit bull barrels have been coated with Titanium Nitride for optimized hardness, lubricity and longevity.

On the Limited model, weight has been removed from the slide to help keep the gun balanced, increase cycle rate, and reduce forward recoil. The front sight is a Dawson Precision fiber optic and the rear is fully adjustable. Available in 9 mm and .40 S&W the DVC limited makes a perfect 3-Gun, U.S.P.S.A. or I.P.S.C gun. MSRP is $2,799.

The DVC Open features a Trubor style integrated compensator. The compensator has been redesigned using high-speed video footage of some of the best shooters and custom compensators in the world to minimize muzzle jump and felt recoil. The slide-racker is entirely new and has been designed to be ambidextrous so it can be used on either side of the pistol via a duel detent system. The DVC Open is topped off with a 6 MOA C-More Sight, making it the perfect gun for Open Division competition. The gun is available in either .38 Super or 9 mm (tuned for major power factor). MSRP is $3,699.
