We've covered the Inceptor line of ammunition from PolyCase, and there's now a .380 ACP version available. This complements the ARX-equipped version for defensive uses.

The Inceptor line of ammunition features PolyCase's injection-molded Copper/Polymer (Cu/P) bullets loaded in traditional brass cases. These projectiles are comprised of a proprietary lead-free copper alloy with high-tensile strength nylon binder and are produced using injection molding technology developed by PolyCase. This technology results in a bullet that is much tougher than compression formed and sintered frangible bullets.

The RNP precision target bullet, which features a traditional round-nose profile, is the first in a series of Cu/P bullets PolyCase is releasing this fall. The new bullets are clean, highly accurate and penetrate soft targets without deformation, yet feature reduced ricochet against hardened steel. The lightweight projectile yields velocities faster than heavier .380 ACP offerings, with claimed speed in excess of 1,000 fps.

MSRP: $24.99 for 25-round box.
