An integral part of your EDC gear, a good flashlight helps with a plethora of daily tasks. Whether it's navigating a dark office in a summer power outage or quickly checking the area around your car on a dark winter's night, there are many reasons to carry a good light with you every day.

ExtremeBeam's SX21R Ballistic Flashlight packs an awful lot into a light weighing 5.58 ounces (with batteries). Water resistant to 30 feet, a seven hour run time on two CR123 batteries (and it can take rechargeable CR123 batteries as well), 220 lumen output and capable of projecting light 1,000 feet away, this is a rough-and-tumble light that will keep working no matter what the conditions.

As an added bonus, it's designed for use as a weaponlight with many mounting systems such as the Rosch Works SLM1 or Magpul Rail Light Mount. It can withstand recoil up to .50 BMG (if you want to attach it to a 20 mm Vulcan mini-gun you're out of luck) and comes with a recessed end cap switch with momentary-on capability. There's even a remote pressure switch available for faster activation when mounted on a firearm.

MSRP: $79.95.
