We have covered HPR Ammunition's .45 ACP defensive ammo previously, and everything said previously about the .45 ACP applies as far as manufacture and reliability.

HPR Ammunition's 124-grain 9 mm JHP also comes in a 50-round box, complete with notched box and tabbed tray for easy opening. The bullets are Hornady XTP hollowpoints and brass is new, and manufactured by HPR. Expected velocity is in excess of 1,000 fps at the muzzle, with a muzzle energy of 248 ft.-lbs.

HPR tuned this ammunition for optimal performance in a standard bullet weight to be defensively superior and accurate in competition. 100 percent American made and utilizing HPR's HyperClean technology, the company claims more time can be spent shooting and less time cleaning with this ammunition.

MSRP: $34.99 (50-round box).
