On the Buffalo Bore website, this load is listed as generating 1,130 fps from a 2.75-inch barrel. The Colt Mustang barrel is slightly longer, and produced a bit faster velocity. Expansion was outstanding at 1.8 times the original diameter, and the wound cavity in the gel block was one of the most impressive I've seen from any .380 ACP load. From the Mustang this load was comfortable to shoot, but out of lighter .380s you might feel a little bite when you pull the trigger.
