Remington's Bonded Golden Saber line of ammunition is a law-enforcement-only product. It is not sold directly to civilians by the manufacturer. Spend some time on the Internet, however, and you'll turn up various sources where it can be procured. Remington bonded the jacket and core of the Golden Saber together to help the bullet retain its expanded shape and weight after penetrating various barriers. This is really the only advantage the Bonded version offers over standard Golden Saber bullets.

There is an ongoing debate among .40 S&W shooters as to what bullet weight is the best choice. Most LE agencies opt for the 180-grain, but based on the terminal performance testing I have conducted the 165-grain loads generally outperform the 180-grain bullets in all categories.
