No, Rock River's latest 1911 doesn't want a cracker. It is, however, built on a polymer frame with a polymer mainspring housing and a polymer shoed trigger. There is a 4140 steel billet frame insert and the slide is also of that alloy. Not a bad looking 1911, with a contemporary twist. The company will also offer interchangeable colors on the frame body for those seeking something other than black.
