The round combines all of the advantages of a slug and buckshot, while eliminating the need for two different rounds.With a growing number of gun owners turning to centerfire rifles for personal defense, Winchester Ammunition expands its PDX1 Defender centerfire rifle line with a new 77-grain, .223 Rem cartridge; and for the first time, a .308 Win. round with a revolutionary 120-grain bullet. Using bullets with innovative Split Core Technology, the rounds are designed to deposit massive energy and rapidly expand without over-penetration.
