Lancer's LCH weighs less than comparable aluminum handguard systems without sacrificing rigidity or impact strength.

The Lancer LCH can be applied to a variety of rifle configurations and be used in multiple applications. Available in carbine, mid-length, rifle length and extra long (15-inch), the handguard offers an advanced, heat-resistant carbon fiber tube; low profile; and multiple sight rail options. Supporting the carbon fiber tube is a precision machined receiver extension and an aluminum end cap designed to prevent impact damage.

Features:

• Free float design. The aluminum receiver extension is precision machined to ensure a rigid connection

• Low profile, octagon-shaped carbon-fiber tube is as rigid and impact resistant as aluminum lightweight free float tube designs

• Optional cooling slots

• Cooling slots will accept accessory rail hardware

• Optional picatinny rail at 12 o'clock

• Attachment points for quick-detach sling swivels at three and nine o'clock

• Weight, including proprietary barrel nut (2.4oz):

o Carbine: 9.2oz

o Mid-length: 10oz

o Rifle: 11oz

o Extra Long: 12.1oz

"As a leader in lightweight component design and development, Lancer set out to create the lightest handguard system for AR patterned rifles on the market today," explained Scott Vilardi, small arms business manager, Lancer Systems. "With our lightweight handguard we're proud to set the industry standard in small arms technologies while continuing to give customers even greater options and value."

"After trying many of the handguards on the market I have found the Lancer to be far superior," said Dean DeTurk, team member of the Lancer Action Shooting Team. "The extended length allows me to get my support hand out as far as possible to control the muzzle and quicken target to target acquisitions. Its light weight and durability are unsurpassed, and the ability to mount accessories almost anywhere makes it extremely user friendly."
